The Torkelsons/Almost Home:I haven't seen this show in ages it seems, but I remember how I couldn't help but root for this poor family from a small town in Oklahoma, who remained optimistic even when things seemed bleak for them. Every episode was intriguing to me, and I could relate to the characters...especially the daydreaming and romantic eldest daughter, Dorothy Jane.
***Favorite character: Dorothy Jane

Dorothy Jane talking to the "Man in the Moon"

Salute Your Shorts: This show made me long to go to summer camp...but just a tiny bit. That's only because I thought that summer camp could never be as fun as Salute Your Shorts made it seem.
***Favorite character: I liked all of them...well, with the exception of the counselor, Kevin "Ug"Lee and Budnick.

American Dreams: Yes, I know that the first season of this terrific drama is out on DVD and has been out for some time, but where are the other seasons? The rest of the seasons of this wonderful look into the life of the Pryors seriously must be released! The show centers around the Pryor family during a turbulent time in U.S. history...the 60s. Not only that, but the music in this show is rockin'!
***Favorite character: At first it was Meg, but then it became J.J.

The first season

Growing Pains: Yet another show that already has one season out on DVD...but that's not enough for me! As far as I know, at this time there are no plans to release the other seasons, but that had better change! I love this sitcom which revolves around the Seaver family, but mainly Mike, the oldest son and biggest troublemaker.
***Favorite character: MIKE!!!!

Reunion: Man, I miss this show already! I know that they didn't even finish airing all the episodes before getting cancelled, but they should release this if they had filmed all episodes before getting the boot. The whole concept caught my attention from the get-go: 5 friends from high school finally reunite after several years over the murder of one of their friends, and every one of them is a suspect.
***Favorite character: Carla

The Wonder Years: I love this poignant sometimes-comedy sometimes-drama show. It focuses on teen Kevin Arnold and his love for Winnie Cooper, interspersed with the narration of an adult Kevin. Set in the 60s, this show also portrayed the events of the era.
***Favorite character: Kevin

Ahhh, young love
